Ιtalian Olive Oil Festival in Bucharest by Maslinescu

On September 12th 2025 I had the pleasure of being invited to Bucharest for the very first Italian Olive Oil Festival by Maslinescu, a remarkable initiative dedicated to celebrating the excellence and diversity of Italian extra virgin olive oils.

The festival brought together outstanding producers and offered a unique opportunity to explore and taste exceptional olive oil varieties, while highlighting the richness of Italy's olive-growing heritage. It was inspiring to see such a high-level event take place in Romania, bringing together producers, professionals, and olive oil enthusiasts through a shared appreciation for high quality olive oil.

Events like these demonstrate that exceptional extra virgin olive oil transcends geographical boundaries. Quality, authenticity, and craftsmanship are universal values that connect cultures and create meaningful dialogue wherever they are celebrated.
