Olive Oil Tasting at the UAE Ambassador's Residence

On Wednesday February 14th it was a great honor to lead an exclusive olive oil tasting for 40 members of the Women's International Club, graciously hosted at the residence of His Excellency, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Greece, Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, and his wife, Tanja.

During the event, guests explored a selection of exceptional extra virgin olive oils from Greece and abroad, discovering the factors that define quality, sensory excellence, and authenticity. A curated olive oil tasting bar also featured internationally acclaimed olive oils, including Rincón de la Subbética from Spain and Oro di Milas from Türkiye - a remarkable extra virgin olive oil for which I have served as quality consultant and master blender for the past four years.

It was a privilege to share my passion for extra virgin olive oil with women from around the world, celebrating its rich culture, remarkable diversity, and unique role in gastronomy and healthy living.
